Position
Purpose
The
Office Sales Team Member contributes to our sales-team goal of
exceptional service through daily customer interaction and order
administration. This position
requires a consistent and honest supportive sales team effort, the
development of customer relationships, and effective and timely problem
resolution.
Major Tasks,
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Participate in and assist our Sales
Team in the
sale
of HVAC equipment.
Work effectively with all departments
to facilitate
sales
activity.
Backup Sales Team/Sales Engineers by
fielding
phone
calls when they are with customers.
Prepare
and maintain customer and project files.
Secure
freight quotes.
Assist
Sales Team by interacting with customers
to quote prices, take orders,
and effectively
resolve
problems.
Provide accurate and detailed
equipment
selection,
take-offs, and proposals.
Proposal
follow up with contractors to determine
project
awards.
Submittal
preparation.
Provide
complete and accurate order entry with
correct
pricing and materials.
Provide order write-up, order
follow-up, order
tracking,
order routing, and order expediting.
Assist
with maintenance of order status report.
Source
product through manufacturers.
Involved
in marketing efforts such as new products
and
"product focuses".
All
other tasks as assigned to support our Sales
Team.

manufacturers' sales
representatives, on the
phone, via email, and in
person.

support for our
Sales Team / Sales Engineers.

relationships, superior communication skills, effective problem
resolution, in addition to accurate pricing and ordering.

Takes leading role in the sale of HVAC equipment and systems.

Assists with the design and application of HVAC equipment and
systems.

Provides accurate and detailed equipment take-off, pricing, and
proposal preparation.

Provides accurate and detailed order entry.

Promotes and sells HVAC equipment to contractors, engineers, and
end users.
·
Works effectively with all members of the sales team, to
facilitate sales activity.

Resolves problems effectively, fairly and timely.
